Surf City Allstars
The Surf City Allstars were formed in the early 80’s with the band members who were touring with both the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. The Surf City Allstars are the best surfin’ beach party band around on a par with their friends, the Beach Boys. When you hear the band, you get the authentic “surf” sound and harmonies that were taught to the Allstars by Brian Wilson and Mike Love of the Beach Boys, and Jan Berry of Jan & Dean. The Surf City Allstars perfected their vocals and performance of all the greatest surf music hits through years of touring with the legendary Beach Boys and Jan & Dean. THE SURF CITY ALLSTARS ARE: David Logeman (Jan & Dean, Frank Zappa, The Beach Boys), Don Raymond (The Ventures, Jan & Dean), Matt Jardine (Beach Boys, Wilson/Philips, Jan & Dean), Gary Griffin (Beach Boys, Brian Wilson), and Philip Bardowell (Beach Boys). This band has toured for years with the biggest names in Surf Music and is man for man the greatest surf and beach party band around!
David Marks
Original Beach Boy David Marks is touring together with the Surf City Allstars to bring you the Greatest Hits of the Beach Boys in a new live show. When Brian Wilson decided not to tour with the band and stay home to write songs, David played second guitar and Al Jardine played bass. He did his first tour together with the Beach Boys in 1962 and he is back performing again in the most authentic live show with his surf guitar riffs and vocals that features the Beach Boys Greatest Hits from their first hit single, Surfin, to all the Beach Boys’ hits from the 60’s through the 90’s.
Dean Torrence
Dean Torrence was the co-founder, co-lead singer, and co-writer of the hit surf duo, Jan & Dean. Dean first teamed up with Jan Berry in the 1950’s while they both attended High School in West Los Angeles. The duo went on to score a huge string of hit songs beginning in 1959 until Jan’s horrible car crash in 1966. Since Jan’s untimely death occurred in 2004, Dean has kept their music alive and brings the Greatest Hits of Jan & Dean Live as a special guest of the Surf City Allstars.
