Hospice Calgary is a family-centred counselling and hospice care registered charity serving the Calgary community for over 30 years. We are one organization with two centres of care: Rosedale Hospice and the Counselling & Education Centre. We provide specialized, professional care for people dying of cancer and their families, and counselling and support for grieving families who have lost a loved one.
At Rosedale Hospice, our residential hospice care facility, adults dying of cancer find a life-affirming, compassionate alternative to dying at home or in a hospital setting. They, and their loved ones, receive on-going emotional, social and spiritual support, as well as the best medical and nursing care from compassionate, professional staff and specially trained volunteers.
Through our Counselling & Education Centre, highly skilled counsellors and trained volunteers provide a wide variety of counselling and support services for each member of a grieving family. Hospice Calgary specializes in child and teen grief support with group programs, and individual and family counselling. We offer the only day support program for people diagnosed with terminal cancer and we provide in-home counselling to families before and after the death of a loved one.
If your family, or someone you know, needs counselling or hospice care help, call us. We can provide you and your family with the support and guidance you feel you need - for as long as you need it.
Hospice Calgary serves people of all ages, faiths, and financial means. No-one is refused help because of financial circumstances. To learn more about all of our services, please contact Hospice Calgary at 403-263-4525 or visit our website at www.hospicecalgary.com.
